RUFF DIAMOND DOG TRAINING CLASSES
Have fun whilst you both learn
Our classes are designed so that you and your dog will feel relaxed and welcomed, creating an ideal environment in which to learn. To ensure that you and your dog gain maximum benefit from training with Ruff Diamond, all our class sizes are small. Click on the links below to determine the class suitable for you and your dog. Our Friday evening classes are held at Walkerville Community Centre and our Saturday classes at Monkchester Community Centre If you are unsure as to which class would be suitable, please contact us by email or on 07879 422 131.
Get your puppy off to the pawfect start with our puppy training and socialisation course. Want to teach your puppy to pay attention to you, to walk nicely on the lead, come when called and not jump up? These are all exercises covered in the course as well as lots of helpful advice on common puppy challenges such as mouthing, house training and alone time.
Our starters course is the same course content as the puppy course, but for dogs that are over 20 weeks old at the start of the course - it's never too late for your dog to learn. The course is ideal for adolescent dogs that have started to be a little more challenging and for rescue dogs, or if you've just decided you'd like to do some training with your dog.
Our junior course is a follow on course from the puppy and starters courses. We build on the exercises you've already taught your dog and apply them to real life situations, such as teaching your dog to leave a dropped treat or to stay whilst you tie your shoe lace. Plus we'll teach a few fun tricks to keep you and them entertained.
The Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme is the largest dog training scheme in the UK. The aim of the scheme is to promote responsible dog ownership and in turn, enhance our relationship with our pets. We offer all four levels of the scheme, from puppy up to Gold.
Talking Dogs Rally is fun and no matter what level you and your dog may be at it’s easy to get involved and start training and competing. Rally involves you and your dog working as a team to navigate a course with numbered signs indicating different exercises to perform; think of it as a sort of ‘obedience exercise obstacle course’ including a range of fun and challenging exercises.
